About Us

ARC stands for:

A - Accountability for your own actions, choices and decisions.
R - Responsibility for you own life and future - establishing goals.
C - Commitment to yourself and your family to reach the goals you set.

ARC of Hope is a ministry of LIA House, an independent, non-denominational, faith-based mission, located in El Dorado Springs, Missouri.

After many years of meeting the emergency needs of families, we became more and more concerned about the environments some were living in.  We received many calls each month for emergency shelter with no way to help.  Thus, the dream of the ARC of Hope began.

It is amazing what God can do when you are willing!  With many, many donations and countless volunteers help, we were able to completely renovate and update a 10-bedroom facility - literally - from the ground - - up ; complete with sitting areas, play room, fenced play area, living room, laundry area and more!  We recently were able to go ahead and purchase the property.  Amazing!!

We opened our doors on February 1, 2007.  Since then, we have ministered to several families in need and help them find a better life.

Our Mission - To provide a safe, secure environment and any needed services for victims of domestic and sexual abuse, where they can re-evaluate their life situations and gain confidence and skills to provide a better way.
